Work on Chapter themes

In the morning the language groups discussed the theme: Vocations and Formation for Mission, (Vocation awareness, Initial formation, ongoing formation, Marist Laity). In the early afternoon they presented the reports from their sharing at a plenary session. During the remainder of the afternoon, the language groups met once again, this time to begin to discuss the theme: Resources for Mission, (Personnel and Finances). On Saturday morning the discussion will continue during the first part of the morning and later a report from each language group will be presented at a plenary session. The report will then be passed on to the working groups when they begin next week to working in depth on the four themes.

An evening of recreation and entertainment from the provinces of North America, Latin America and Oceania has been planned for tonight.
