25/02/2016: Preparation days - 25 February

The last few days have seen the arrival of the Sisters coming from all parts of the world:

• a time of meeting - seeing old friends and making new ones;
• a time to rest after long journeys,
• a time to catch up on news and to learn about SMSM throughout the world.

On Wednesday morning we were fortunate to be able to join hundrerds of pilgrims in the weekly audience with Pope Francis. Sister Georgeanne Marie, our Congregational Leader was able to speak briefly with Pope Francis as he greeted various pilgrims. She told him that she brought with her the love and prayers of the Sisters throughout the world. He replied, “Yes, I need prayers.”
