We were privileged to welcome Gabrielle Damico of Turin, an active member of the Lay Marist movement, who met with the Marist Sisters and Marist Missionary Sisters to share his vision for promoting and inviting others to become part of the Lay Marist family. His passion, commitment, and desire to strengthen unity among Lay Marists around the world made for an inspiring and enriching time of sharing. We are grateful for his dedication to the Marist charism and his efforts to bring together the wider Marist family in the spirit of Mary, service, and mission.

The SMSM Via Cassia community was delighted to welcome and provide hospitality and accommodation for Sr Sylvette Mane and Marist Sisters community in Rome while their Generalate is undergoing major renovation. This is an opportunity of grace deepening the bonds of sisterhood and strengthening our shared Marist spirit.

Srs Denise and Kate stand ready to begin their pilgrimage along the historic Via Francigena. The tail end of the ancient route to St Peter's winds along Via Cassia. Leaving at 7 am on Trinity Sunday they arrived at the Vatican in time for the Sunday Angelus with Pope Leo.
