Healing the silence – UISG Formation Workshop for Religious General Councils
From January 26-28, Faith and Praxis team held a workshop 'Healing the silence' designed for General Councils. This took place at UISG in Rome. The workshop was facilitated by Sr Selina Mbuli, RSM from Kenya and Fr Yago Abeledo, MA from Spain.
During the sessions, participants explored the silences that have shaped the lives and experiences of religious communities offering skills in understanding and promoting healing, reconciliation, and solidarity. The workshop offered valuable tools and insights, encouraging participants to reflect on their own journeys and leadership roles within their communities.
This formation experience was a true source of embracing the hidden truths in our midst with courage and compassion, enrichment, inspiring all those present to move forward with renewed commitment to healing and unity within their religious missions.
