This January 1, 2026, marks an important turning point in the four Regions of our Congregation:
The establishment of new Regional Teams.
The Sainte Foy community joined the members of the outgoing and incoming Regional Councils of Africa-Europe at a Eucharistic celebration to:
- give thanks to the Lord for the generosity and dedication of Sisters Athanasie HAKIZUWAMBAZA, Marisa Besacchi, Lena Yaka TINE and Hélène Awa DIOUF over the past three years, serving the Africa-Europe Region.
- welcome and entrust to the Lord the new team in the next three years of their mandate: Sisters Athanasie HAKIZUWAMBAZA, Marisa BESACCHI, Telesia MASEI and Christiane NSHIYIMANA.
Regional Council tasks:
Sr. Athanasie HAKIZUWAMBAZA: Regional
Sr. Marisa BESACCHI: Regional Assistant and continuing service as Local Superior at Casa Immacolata, community in Brescia.
Sr. Telesia MASEI: Regional Secretary.
Sr. Christiane NSHIMIYIMANA: Responsible for the Region's news.
