The Wellington Archdiocese in New Zealand is dedicating 2020 as a Year of Mission. Cardinal John Dew launched the year’s programme at the Mission Expo day at Viard College, Porirua, on Saturday 14 March 2020. This was a chance to showcase many of the missionary activities and opportunities that take place in the Archdiocese. It featured a variety of displays, workshops, cultural exchanges, food stalls, games and more. Workshops included mission in a multicultural context, creating pastoral care teams, Maori mission.
In our smsm display we highlighted the call to international missionas our particular way of sharing in the great mission of the Church.
