On 31st March 2007 the SMSM in Sydney gathered to give thanks for all that God has done for us in the 57 years we have lived at Wahroonga. There was a ritual of farewell, starting in the chapel and moving through the house and grounds with pauses to pray in thanksgiving. It included remembering the Sisters, the many events, people and blessings associated with Wahroonga and a prayer for the healing of memories.

Afterwards, there was an afternoon tea during which stories of memorable events continued. Finally we shared together in the Eucharist. On Sunday 29th April, the Wahroonga parish farewelled the Sisters during Sunday Mass.
The last members of the Wahroonga community left there in May, and are now living in other communities around Sydney.
